Engineering Solution Architect

Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end migration strategy and target architecture for transitioning core systems from a SaaS environment to on-premise infrastructure.
• Assess current SaaS-based setups to identify dependencies, risks, and technical constraints.
• Produce a clear roadmap outlining sequencing and technical considerations for successful execution.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure alignment with regulatory and operational requirements.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for the migration, providing direction to delivery teams.
• Manage stakeholders by communicating progress, risks, and key technical decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a senior engineering role.
• Direct hands-on experience designing or leading SaaS-to-on-premise (or similar infrastructure) migrations.
• Strong knowledge of on-premise infrastructure design, including networking, storage, security, and deployment.
• Experience working within regulated industries, specifically financial services.
• Ability to translate complex system assessments into actionable migration plans.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate technical strategy to both technical and business audiences.
• English proficiency at a C1 Advanced level.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with core banking or wealth management platforms.
