About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret engineering, construction, financial, and operational data to support project and departmental decision-making
- Design and develop dashboards, visualizations, and analytical tools to monitor project performance, budgets, and schedules
- Conduct detailed trend analysis and forecasting using statistical and analytical techniques
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources for reporting and analysis
- Automate recurring reports and streamline data processing tasks to improve efficiency
- Maintain data integrity through regular audits and troubleshooting of data-related issues
- Prepare clear reports, visually strong PowerPoint presentations, and project summaries for leadership
- Develop and maintain written materials such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and KPIs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in business, public administration, information science, or a closely related field
- At least three years of progressively responsible experience in performing administrative, operations, budgetary, or similar analyses
- Proficiency in project management or enterprise software such as Primavera, SAP, Microsoft Power BI, or Microsoft Excel
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction management or engineering environments
- Experience working within a public agency
- Familiarity with database platforms such as Microsoft Access, SQL Server, or MySQL
