About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of program execution for the Excalibur Weapon System, focusing on obsolescence redesign efforts and trade studies
- Meet contractual commitments regarding financial, technical, and schedule performance
- Act as the primary capture and proposal manager for all Engineering Services efforts
- Drive program-enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations including Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Manufacturing
- Execute daily program management cadences such as risk review boards, customer reviews, and program management reviews (PMRs)
- Lead the program risk and opportunity process to achieve financial goals and obligations
- Collaborate with Financial Planning to ensure Integrated Master Schedules meet program milestones
Requirements
- University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years of experience
- Proven experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule requirements on a program
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines (Engineering, Contracts, Supply Chain, etc.)
- Experience with proposal activities
- Active and transferable U.S. government security clearance (Secret) required on day 1
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry supporting capture, development, or sustainment programs
- Program Management Level 5 certification or equivalent
- Experience managing suppliers and interfacing with supplier senior leadership
- Familiarity with US Army customers including PMCAS and DEVCOM
- Experience conducting international business and managing cross-cultural communication
