Engineering Project/Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership to a team of individual contributors, managing recruitment, coaching, and career development.
• Lead engineering development programs and manage the R&D of new technologies.
• Manage headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects to ensure alignment with organizational roadmaps.
• Act as a subject matter expert to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend strategic changes.
• Establish technology and product goals in collaboration with tech leads, partners, and executive leadership.
• Manage relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers, ensuring quality and adherence to schedules.
• Communicate project status and escalate critical issues to internal and external development partners.

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 7-10 years of job-related experience.
• 5-7 years of management experience.
• Proven experience in engineering development and implementation.
• Proficiency in project planning tools and software packages.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban principles.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes.
• Proficiency with JIRA and other project management software.
• Strong skills in risk management, change management, and new product development.
