About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete capital project process, including pre-engineering design, estimating, equipment procurement, installation, startup, and project closeout.
  • Manage engineering consultants, installation contractors, and equipment vendors to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Oversee capital projects up to $10M in value, ensuring they provide a competitive advantage to the business.
  • Engage cross-functional teams including production, maintenance, quality, R&D, and safety to ensure alignment on critical success factors.
  • Perform effective risk and issue management to mitigate potential disruptions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in the development of engineering standards and tools to improve effectiveness and reduce costs.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with safety, security, and environmental policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related scientific or technical discipline.
  • 2+ years of engineering capital project management experience in a related industry.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, listening, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within high-performing team environments.
  • Willingness to travel 20%-50% depending on project complexity and cycle.
