Engineering Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of software engineering projects, managing the full lifecycle from initiation through launch
• Define and maintain project plans covering scope, milestones, timelines, resource allocation, and risks
• Serve as the primary point of contact across engineering, product, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and priorities
• Coordinate across engineering, QA, DevOps, and operations teams for smooth and timely execution
• Proactively identify, track, and manage risks, dependencies, and change management
• Drive collaboration across globally distributed, time-zone diverse teams

Requirements

• Master of Business Administration
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Engineering Project or Program management
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and associated tooling such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background in software engineering with the ability to articulate technical implications of project decisions
• Experience working in globally distributed, time-zone diverse team environments
• Good understanding of GenAI tool usage in all phases of SDLC
• Experience working with vendors and contractors in a global delivery model
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
