Engineering Project Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of electronic control engineering projects from requirements definition through validation and production release
• Coordinate development of product and project requirements to create executable project plans
• Monitor project progress and proactively address scope, schedule, cost, and technical risks
• Drive timely decision-making and escalation within a matrixed organization
• Prepare and present clear technical and project updates to stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, tools, and project execution methods

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience leading engineering projects and programs
• Ability and willingness to travel as required by project needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
• Proven experience completing multiple projects from concept to launch (cradle-to-grave)
• Foundation in software or hardware design engineering of electronic controls
• Experience leading customer-facing or externally funded projects
• Experience managing projects involving contract manufacturing
• Strong communication skills for interacting with global stakeholders across engineering, operations, and sales
