About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams including Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Supplier Quality through the product development process.
- Develop and execute global operations and supply chain strategies for New Product Introduction (NPI) core teams.
- Establish operational plans, manage project budgets, and maintain detailed schedules to meet productivity and quality goals.
- Drive manufacturing and supply chain risk mitigation and lead decision-making for facility locations and make-buy strategies.
- Facilitate launch build planning, capacity planning, and commercialization readiness activities.
- Ensure alignment between operations and core teams, documenting requirements for Quality System Compliance and Regulatory submissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience, OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Experience working within the medical device industry or another highly regulated environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Biomedical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- PMP certification.
- Experience in new product or new process development, including successful launches.
- Experience supervising or managing teams.
- Green or Black Belt in Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM).
