Engineering Planner Asset Management

Responsibilities

• Establish and embed the site's proactive maintenance program on equipment
• Specify requirements for completing approved work and ensure routine program revision
• Perform planning for all work performed by Work Centers using SAP PM
• Manage programmed work, reactive work, follow-on work, and shutdowns
• Extract equipment and work management performance reports from SAP PM
• Coordinate material management including codification and supplier warranties
• Provide accurate cost estimates and monitor asset management spend
• Produce weekly and monthly reports on planned versus actual maintenance activities
• Participate in criticality assessments and reliability studies

Requirements

• Grade 12 or Technical Trade Specific N2
• Completed apprenticeship/learnership and qualified Artisan in a specific discipline
• 3-5 years of planned maintenance or production experience in Mining or Process industry
• Proficiency in SAP PM (Computerised Planned Maintenance System)
• Computer literacy in MS Office
• Valid Code 8 (B) driver's license
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Successfully completed all Planner Asset Management training modules
• In-depth knowledge of metallurgy, mining, or engineering disciplines
• Experience with Defect Elimination and Failure Analysis
