About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver lectures for a broad range of introductory and upper-level engineering courses
- Provide individual student instruction and guidance during scheduled office hours
- Prepare, administer, and grade examinations and other course assessments
- Advise students on academic matters related to the engineering curriculum
- Participate in department and college service activities
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in engineering or a closely related field
- Ability to teach both introductory and upper-level engineering courses
- Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and the liberal arts mission of the college
- Commitment to fostering inclusive excellence in teaching and mentorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree specifically in mechanical engineering or a closely related field
- Professional experience in manufacturing or other relevant industry sectors
