About the role

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver lectures for a broad range of introductory and upper-level engineering courses
  • Provide individual instruction and mentorship to students during office hours
  • Prepare, administer, and grade examinations and other assessments
  • Advise students on academic matters related to the engineering curriculum
  • Participate in department and college service activities

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in engineering or a closely related field
  • Ability to teach both introductory and upper-level courses
  • Demonstrated commitment to the Christian faith and the liberal arts mission of the college
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive excellence in teaching and mentorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree specifically in mechanical engineering or a closely related field
  • Professional experience in manufacturing or other relevant industry sectors
