Engineering MDM Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a global team of 8 MDM specialists to drive operational excellence.
• Own engineering master data governance, quality, and standardization across manufacturing sites.
• Oversee the accuracy and delivery of Material Master, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routings, and Equipment Master Data.
• Support SAP and PLM (Teamcenter) integration and transformation activities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for Engineering Change Management (ECO/ECN).
• Drive continuous process improvements, automation, and data quality initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT functions globally.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing master data within large, complex global manufacturing or engineering organizations.
• Strong team leadership and people management skills.
• Deep expertise in Material Master Data, BOMs, Routings, and Equipment Master Data.
• Proficiency with SAP (essential) and PLM systems, specifically Teamcenter.
• Solid understanding of Engineering Change Management and manufacturing practices.
• Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and work effectively in a global, cross-cultural environment.
• Willingness to undertake international travel to various manufacturing sites.
