Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a talented engineering team, providing technical guidance and mentorship to support career progression.
• Manage the development pipeline to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
• Perform design reviews and code reviews to ensure high standards of game quality.
• Create and maintain a technical backlog focused on modernizing the tech stack, improving performance, and ensuring game stability.
• Establish engineering best practices and drive excellence in quality across the team.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including PM, Design, UI/UX, Art, and QA.
• Foster a problem-solving culture and a strong focus on the player experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 8+ years of professional hands-on experience in mobile, desktop, or web application development.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, C#, Python, or Go.
• 2+ years of experience in team management, including hiring, mentoring, and building strong teams.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with designing, coding, and release management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Unity, Cocos2D, or other major game engines.
