Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and support teams of software and data engineers delivering AI-enabled systems in production
• Own the technical execution and delivery of client-facing projects, ensuring quality, reliability, and outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into production-ready systems
• Guide system and solution design across infrastructure, backend services, data platforms, and AI workflows
• Provide technical mentorship and coaching through code reviews, design discussions, and regular feedback
• Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term system maintainability and scalability

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
• 1-3 years of experience leading or managing technical teams
• Proven ability to lead client projects and build strong stakeholder relationships
• Experience designing and maintaining production-grade systems in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Expertise in software engineering best practices, system design, and agile delivery methodologies
• Experience with version control (e.g., GitHub) and CI/CD processes
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or deploying AI-enabled systems, including LLM-based workflows (RAG, agentic systems)
• Experience with data-intensive systems, including ETL/ELT pipelines and analytical platforms
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform)
• Experience with workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow, AWS Step Functions)
• Strong experience with SQL and relational or analytical data systems
• Associate-level cloud architect certification
