Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage frontend (React.js) and backend (Node.js) engineers to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Design, develop, and review scalable, high-performance applications and services.
• Architect and integrate third-party services and APIs with internal systems.
• Design and manage systems involving multiple database sources, including MongoDB and Redis.
• Own application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Drive best practices around code quality, reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
• Manage deployments and infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, Load Balancers, etc.).
• Mentor team members and help engineers grow professionally.
• Work closely with Product, Ops, and Business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in React.js and Node.js.
• Proven experience in engineering team management and delivery ownership.
• Solid understanding of database design and optimization for scalable systems.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, and relational databases.
• Expertise in third-party API integrations.
• Experience with AWS deployments, monitoring, and production systems.
• Proficiency with Git, branching strategies, and release workflows.
• Ability to work in a high-velocity startup environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in AdTech, MarTech, or data-driven platforms.
• Exposure to high-scale, real-time systems.
• Understanding of caching, rate-limiting, and distributed systems.
