Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing, inclusive engineering team
• Align technical direction with product and company strategy
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable software delivery through best practices in testing and architecture
• Optimize developer experience, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and AI proficiency
• Oversee project execution, planning, and risk management to meet business goals
• Collaborate closely with ML, Product, and Data teams

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role with people management experience
• Strong technical background in backend engineering (Kotlin and mobile engineering is a plus)
• Hands-on mindset with modern development tools and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building reliable, high-quality production systems
• Proficiency with agile methodologies and project management
• Strong track record in hiring and building high-performing teams
• Excellent communication skills and ability to drive technical strategy
• Fluent in English (C1); German is a plus (C1)

• Experience in the healthcare industry
• Experience delivering complex integrations and partnership-driven projects
