Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a group of approved vendors for tower modification design and construction
• Project manage and coordinate with vendors to ensure field work and construction schedules are completed on time
• Design complex tower modifications to reinforce structures when loading parameters produce overstressing
• Review modification drawings and post-modification inspection reports for accuracy
• Maintain tracking of all modification projects and issue weekly KPI metrics
• Track the modifications budget throughout the year
• Provide weekly and quarterly reports to the VP of Structural Engineering and EVP of Operations
• Represent Vertical Bridge on TIA sub-committees to stay updated on maintenance standards

Requirements

• Four-year degree in civil or structural engineering
• Minimum 4 years of structural engineering experience
• Telecommunication or tower industry experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration
• Proficiency in TNX Tower and RISA 3D software
• Knowledge of IBC, TIA Rev G & H, ACI, and ASCE-7 standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Structural Engineer (SE) License
• Knowledge of additional foundation software
