Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide Engineering Management within the Project Leadership Team to ensure integrated project delivery
• Act as the contractor’s technical authority to ensure engineering solutions are safe, compliant, and buildable
• Coordinate multi-discipline engineering teams including civil, mechanical, electrical, C&I, process, and gas systems
• Manage engineering delivery in accordance with UK gas regulations and industry standards
• Oversee engineering interfaces with live high-pressure gas assets and mitigate associated risks
• Support safety and design assurance activities such as HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA
• Provide technical oversight of subcontract design organisations and OEM/vendor packages
• Resolve site-based technical issues during the construction phase
• Manage technical change control and support NEC contract change processes
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover documentation completion

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Project Engineer on major capital EPC projects
• Degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent industry experience
• In-depth understanding of high-pressure process piping, civil/structural elements, and safety systems
• Experience in UK high-pressure gas infrastructure preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicable design software
• Valid driving licence
• Fluent in English
• Ability to travel between Warrington, Woking, and Warwick offices, and eventually be site-based in Gloucestershire
