Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to foster professional growth.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Identify risks and dependencies early in the development process to ensure smooth project execution and on-time delivery.
• Define technical strategies, standards, and best practices in close collaboration with other engineers.
• Partner with product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and prioritize tasks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to promote innovation and excellence in software development practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
• At least 1 year of experience in a management role.
• Strong technical background with expertise in at least one high-level programming language such as Kotlin, Swift, C++, Java, or Python.
• Proven track record of successfully leading software development teams and delivering projects on schedule.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on driving results.
