Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of five to eight engineers, owning day-to-day delivery and technical development.
• Run effective sprint ceremonies, including planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups.
• Identify and remove blockers to ensure predictable delivery and high standards.
• Conduct regular one-to-ones to provide constructive feedback and support engineer growth.
• Contribute to the hiring process, including interviewing and assessing technical and cultural fit.
• Stay hands-on with technical work through code reviews, architectural discussions, and incident response.
• Ensure all work meets engineering standards for quality, security, and reliability.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• 1 to 2 years of formal engineering leadership experience (e.g., Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Engineering Manager).
• Hands-on technical experience in backend or full-stack development.
• Proven track record of mentoring engineers and supporting talent development.
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Must be a Saudi national.
