Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive measurable impact by identifying high-leverage problems and delivering solutions
• Lead team execution, ensuring commitments are met and blockers are resolved
• Hire exceptional engineers and coach performance to raise talent density
• Promote data-driven decisions to guide priorities and evaluate solutions
• Champion technical quality, including system design, code quality, and reliability
• Foster a psychologically safe, inclusive, and high-accountability team culture
• Partner with Product, Design, and Data teams to align on business-critical initiatives

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience with technical ownership of production systems
• 2+ years of people leadership experience with a track record of developing teams
• Strong technical background in backend, infrastructure, APIs, or data systems
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, or similar languages
• Proven ability to drive execution and solve complex problems with data
• Ability to manage ambiguity and prioritize under tight timelines
• Experience giving and receiving candid feedback

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on high-traffic consumer-facing web or mobile platforms
