Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration
• Define and execute technical strategy and roadmaps aligned with business objectives
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high quality and identify improvement opportunities
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and architectural challenges
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure technical solutions meet business needs
• Manage project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features
• Drive innovation and the adoption of best practices in development and architecture
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and support professional growth for team members

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience
• At least 2 years of experience in an engineering management role
• Expertise in server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go
• Strong understanding of modern web technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance optimization at scale
• Proven track record of managing and coaching teams of 4-6 members
