Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, qualification, and ramp-up of manufacturing equipment and production lines at the new Senai facility
• Drive the successful transfer of mask and glue line processes from existing sites
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineers
• Oversee day-to-day engineering support, including non-conformance investigations, engineering changes, and yield improvement
• Implement automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies to drive efficiency
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to align best practices and remove operational roadblocks

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering within a fast-paced production environment
• Proven team leadership experience or strong readiness to step into a leadership role
• Hands-on experience in factory setup, line transfer, or production ramp-up
• Strong foundation in production engineering fundamentals such as yield, process control, and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical device or highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Exposure to automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies
• Training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, DOE, or project management
