Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 4–8 full-stack engineers
• Stay hands-on in the codebase by writing production code and conducting code reviews
• Own team delivery end-to-end, including scoping projects and setting milestones
• Partner with product managers and designers to translate needs into engineering roadmaps
• Drive engineering excellence through improved CI/CD, observability, and testing
• Recruit and retain exceptional engineering talent
• Champion an AI-first approach to multiply velocity and output quality
• Collaborate cross-functionally with investment, tax, and compliance specialists

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience
• 1–2 years of experience leading a team
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Track record of building and operating reliable production systems at scale
• Strong product instincts and user-centric mindset
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to solve ambiguous problems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in fintech, wealth management, or regulated financial services
• Experience working in a startup environment
