Engineering Manager - Product

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or more efficient, successful, and motivated engineering teams.
• Oversee the planning, prioritization, and delivery of impactful product features and services.
• Support teams in achieving high levels of technical quality, reliability, and developer satisfaction.
• Partner with product and company leadership to define and execute long-term technical and product strategies.
• Mentor and coach direct reports, defining clear pathways for professional growth and performance.
• Recruit exceptional engineers and managers in collaboration with the talent acquisition team.
• Make data-driven decisions to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, or a similar technical field.
• 6+ years of experience in a Software Engineering Leadership position (Technical Lead, Manager, or Manager of Managers).
• Proven track record of leading teams to ship high-quality features in strategic product areas.
• Demonstrated ability in technical decision-making, including selecting appropriate architectures and patterns.
• Experience interviewing, hiring, and mentoring product-focused engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex ideas simply to various stakeholders.
