Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional engineering team with expertise in mobile, backend, and platform development.
• Empower your team to deliver high levels of technical quality and significant business impact.
• Recruit a diverse team of top-tier engineers, managing the process from outreach to closing.
• Facilitate career development for engineers through constructive feedback and challenging responsibilities.
• Partner with product and data teams to influence strategic direction and product decisions.
• Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of the ClassPass management team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of direct management experience with an engineering team of at least 6 members.
• Proven experience delivering high-quality frontends and/or mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of web or mobile application architecture and backend best practices.
• Ability to establish and articulate a technical vision, set goals, and execute effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-moving, data-driven environment.
• Familiarity with Kotlin, Java, or AWS (ECS, SQS, RDS).
• Experience with modern mobile development frameworks like Swift/SwiftUI or Android/Jetpack Compose.
