Engineering Manager - Platform Team

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions and lead decision-making on all engineering aspects for the Platform Team
• Define and execute engineering plans for assigned areas of ownership
• Drive engineering best practices and maintain the hygiene of production systems and processes
• Manage the health of the business directly owned by the team
• Challenge business and product outcomes, channeling feedback into technical execution
• Hire, mentor, and retain a best-of-class engineering team
• Manage stakeholders across business, product, operations, and external vendors

Requirements

• 8-10 years of software development experience
• 4+ years of experience in leading and managing high-performing software development teams
• Proven experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
• BTech, MTech, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Strong ability to drive the design and architecture of multiple subsystems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting complex technical information

• Past experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
