Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions and lead decision making on all engineering aspects of the team
• Define and execute engineering plans for assigned areas of ownership
• Drive engineering best practices and maintain production system hygiene
• Take responsibility for the health of the business directly owned by the team
• Challenge business and product outcomes and channelize feedback into execution
• Hire, mentor, and retain a best-of-class engineering team
• Manage stakeholders including business, product, operations, and vendors

Requirements

• 8-10 years of software development experience
• 4+ years of experience leading teams
• Proven skills in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
• Experience building and managing high-performing software development teams
• Ability to drive design and architecture of multiple subsystems
• BTech, MTech, or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
