Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team, raising the bar for ownership and execution speed
• Build engineering culture through clear expectations, 1:1s, and career development
• Define technical direction across architecture, scalability, and reliability
• Own roadmap planning and execution from definition through delivery
• Partner with product, design, and leadership to translate ambiguous problems into scalable systems
• Improve system reliability, observability, and engineering efficiency
• Play a key role in hiring and developing future leaders

Requirements

• 5+ years in software engineering
• 1+ year in engineering leadership
• Experience building and scaling teams in startup or high-growth environments
• Strong system design and architecture fundamentals
• Ability to lead through ambiguity
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
• High standards for engineering quality and performance
• Deep technical fluency with comfort in code reviews and architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in workflow-heavy, enterprise SaaS, or infrastructure products
• Exposure to complex regulated environments like construction, logistics, or government systems
