Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management, Design, and other Engineering teams to deliver on the product roadmap.
• Empower the team to execute with high performance through technical expertise and collaboration.
• Own the architecture of your products and maintain a healthy codebase.
• Provide servant leadership, mentorship, and the tools necessary for engineers to make independent decisions.
• Build a culture of trust, teamwork, and professional development.
• Break down complex product requirements into easily shippable milestones and technical designs.

Requirements

• 8 to 10 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Hands-on technical expertise with a preference for staying close to the code.
• Expertise in a strongly typed language such as Java or C#.
• Experience with Microservices and both Relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working in AI Spec Driven Design.
• Strong communication, planning, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading a full-stack team.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Event Driven Architecture.
• Expertise in JavaScript and frameworks like React.
