Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Own technical product areas and delivery across Onboarding, Platform, Infra, AI, and new product initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of world-class engineers, ensuring high performance and well-being
• Set technical direction for engineering-driven initiatives as the network scales to over 1M businesses
• Recruit technically gifted engineers to maintain high talent density
• Partner closely with founders, product, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver compelling experiences
• Establish and maintain high standards for velocity, code quality, and operational excellence
• Foster a team culture grounded in ownership, speed, and empathy

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional engineering experience
• Proven experience managing and hiring engineering teams
• Experience working in and guiding engineering success within quickly scaling environments
• First principles-oriented approach to engineering, balancing high throughput with rigor and correctness
• Track record of shipping high-quality code under tight feedback loops and limited resources
