Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of new equipment, including robotics, conveyors, and assembly systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing issues, specifically regarding injection molding processes and tooling performance
• Manage capital projects from concept through startup, including budget, scope, and timeline management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, quality, and labor efficiency
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by focusing on design for manufacturability in injection molding
• Provide hands-on engineering support to reduce production downtime and improve equipment reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or a related Engineering field
• 6–9+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• Deep expertise in plastic injection molding and/or tooling
• Proven experience managing capital projects and leading teams in a manufacturing setting
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding tooling, validation, and process optimization
• Experience implementing automation, such as robotics and integrated systems
• Background in high-volume manufacturing environments
