Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of frontend and mobile engineers using a hands-on leadership approach
• Drive the architectural direction of the mobile app and web portal focusing on scalability and developer experience
• Own and improve the app release process to accelerate cadence and reduce friction
• Champion engineering excellence in testing, automation, localisation quality, and code reliability
• Foster a platform mindset by ensuring reusable patterns, clean APIs, and well-documented tooling
• Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams as a platform partner
• Identify and resolve workflow bottlenecks to improve team velocity
• Mentor and develop engineers to foster ownership and continuous growth

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams
• Significant hands-on experience with React Native and/or React
• Deep understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
• Proven track record of building or maintaining products at medium to large scale
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and app release processes
• Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Strong product sense and customer-centric approach
• Ability to make decisions with imperfect information and a bias towards action
