Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team
• Drive end-to-end delivery of high-impact engineering initiatives from concept to launch
• Partner with Product and leadership to define scope and align on priorities
• Establish and improve engineering best practices, tools, and processes
• Own team code production through reviews and hands-on technical contributions
• Support hiring, onboarding, and leveling efforts to build an exceptional team
• Maintain a high technical bar through architecture discussions and complex problem solving
• Contribute to long-term technical strategy and infrastructure decisions

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 2+ years in an engineering leadership or tech lead role
• Strong foundation in architecture, system design, and full-stack debugging
• Experience scaling an engineering organization
• Ability to lead through ambiguity in a fast-moving startup environment
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to stakeholders
• Experience in hiring, coaching, and performance management
• Interest in fintech, banking, or highly regulated environments is a plus
