Engineering Manager, Mobile

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of mobile engineers across iOS and Android, including performance management and hiring
• Own the technical direction of mobile applications, including architecture and platform standards
• Drive roadmap execution in partnership with product and design teams
• Partner cross-functionally with backend, platform, security, and data teams
• Establish engineering best practices for testing, code reviews, and release processes
• Drive AI adoption across the team to streamline development and productivity

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on work in native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin)
• 3+ years of engineering management experience leading mobile engineers
• Experience driving adoption of AI-powered tools and workflows
• Ability to manage the full lifecycle of a consumer or B2B mobile product
• Experience operating at scale with high uptime expectations
• Proven track record of building and retaining high-performing teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with both iOS and Android platforms
• Background in SaaS or productivity tools
• Familiarity with mobile release operations and app store processes
• Experience managing teams through major platform migrations
• Exposure to React Native or cross-platform tooling
