Engineering Manager, MLE

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy advanced machine learning models to solve real-world problems
• Bring research from concept to implementation to create AI-driven applications
• Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and product managers to deliver AI-powered solutions
• Implement scalable data pipelines and optimize models for performance and accuracy
• Monitor and maintain deployed models to ensure continued value
• Lead by example through code reviews and high-quality engineering practices

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience in deep learning and transformer models
• Proficiency in frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
• Familiarity with training and fine-tuning LLMs (distillation, SFT, policy optimization)
• Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, loosely defined environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with content understanding or abuse prevention using LLMs
