Engineering Manager, MLE

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integrity team in designing and deploying advanced machine learning models to defend against adversarial threats and ensure platform safety.
• Innovate and deploy AI-driven applications by bringing research from concept to production-ready implementation.
• Collaborate with researchers, software engineers, and product managers to solve complex business challenges and improve content understanding.
• Optimize and scale data pipelines and models for high performance and accuracy.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and maintain high-quality engineering practices.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in deep learning and transformer models.
• Proficiency in frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Familiarity with LLM fine-tuning methods, including distillation, supervised fine-tuning, and policy optimization.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and own problems end-to-end.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with content understanding or abuse prevention using Large Language Models.
