- Coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent through regular feedback and career growth planning
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate needs into scalable technical solutions
- Establish and improve team processes to enable iterative delivery and high reliability
- Drive improvements in development practices, hiring, onboarding, and incident response
- Resolve systemic obstacles to team health, system performance, and delivery
Requirements
- 12-15 years of professional software engineering experience
- 3+ years in an engineering management role
- Experience managing technical teams of 5-8 engineers
- Proficiency in Node.js, GraphQL, React, and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Proven experience designing and operating cloud-native services on AWS
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, and modern DevOps practices
- Experience leading delivery using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
