Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead high performance technology teams and lead by example
• Hire and develop talented leads and engineers
• Own and drive business features into technology requirements
• Work closely with Product Managers and customers to align technology choices with business needs
• Ensure high quality and timely release and support of products
• Actively drive and contribute to architecture and design of products and APIs
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices and efficiency
• Assist the team with design, code reviews, and troubleshooting

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience bringing innovative products to market
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
• Experience building multi-tier web applications
• Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns
• Proficiency in one or more Object-Oriented languages
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP), SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS
• Strong understanding of NoSQL technologies and Distributed systems
• Prior experience with Microservices based architectures is required
• Proven leadership skills to build high performance teams
• Experience practicing Agile methodologies
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
