Responsibilities
- Manage employees located in Bangalore and provide technical leadership
- Guide and mentor the team in the architecture, design, development, deployment, and monitoring of core microservices, data stores, and cloud infrastructure
- Provide technical guidance, perform code reviews, and debug complex, high-traffic services
- Lead and build high-performing engineering teams, including performance reviews, talent assessment, onboarding, and training
Requirements
- 8-12 years of hands-on software development experience
- 2+ years of experience leading and building high-performing engineering teams
- Deep expertise in Golang and/or NodeJS
- Proven experience designing and building scalable, resilient microservices architectures
- Strong knowledge of NoSQL database technologies (Spanner, DynamoDB, or GKE)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Experience with major cloud providers (GCP or AWS)
- BE/BTech or Masters in Computer Science
- Strong background in Networking (TCP/IP, HTTP) and Cybersecurity is a significant advantage
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
