Engineering Manager, Machine Learning & Integrity

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a senior team of Machine Learning Engineers, providing clear direction, mentorship, and career progression support.
• Architect and build next-generation system protections through hands-on design, model training, and deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with Research, Safety, Product, and Policy teams to drive cutting-edge advancements in platform integrity.
• Utilize state-of-the-art models to detect and prevent problematic content and misuse.
• Establish robust evaluation frameworks and metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience managing machine learning teams, ideally in web safety or content integrity.
• Proven experience training, fine-tuning, or distilling LLMs and traditional ML models to solve real-world problems.
• Deep technical expertise in designing solutions, training models, and guiding deployment processes.
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity and create structure in rapidly changing environments.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and high emotional intelligence.
