Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering organization spanning product, platform, and applied AI
• Own the roadmap and business outcomes for the engineering organization
• Set technical direction and drive architectural decisions across teams
• Shape engineering culture, including hiring, shipping, and deployment norms
• Build the operating model for an organization where humans and AI agents work together
• Operate as a peer to the executive team to make high-level company decisions

Requirements

• 15+ years of engineering experience
• 6+ years of people management at a pre-IPO startup, scale-up, or frontier tech company
• 2+ years of experience managing managers
• Experience running an engineering organization of 30+ people
• Ability to remain hands-on at a Tech Lead level (code reviews, design, incident response)
• Deep technical credibility in full-stack (React/TypeScript + Go/Rust), platform (Kubernetes), or applied AI
• Proven track record of building and growing high-performing engineering teams
• Based in Stockholm or London (on-site, 5 days a week)
