Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Tech Leads within in-store engineering, providing direction and growth opportunities
• Drive engineering estimation, sprint planning, and roadmap execution with Product and the CTO
• Establish and improve agile practices, code review standards, and release processes
• Own delivery outcomes including velocity, quality, reliability, and technical debt management
• Champion the adoption of AI tooling to improve productivity and code quality
• Maintain a hands-on technical presence in architecture decisions and the codebase
• Provide technical leadership across Android terminal development, web platforms, and desktop applications
• Mentor and develop engineers while fostering a high-performance culture
• Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure integration and quality

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience managing Tech Leads or senior engineers
• Deep background in payments, POS systems, or fintech domains
• Hands-on technical capability in Android, web engineering, or desktop application development
• Proven track record in engineering delivery and estimation accuracy
• Experience managing both onshore and offshore engineering teams
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
