Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of structural design information, ensuring compliance with agreed programmes and schedules
• Assess and mitigate technical risks across both temporary and permanent works
• Support tender and bid winning through design expertise, feasibility studies, and innovative solutions
• Mentor colleagues and nurture engineering excellence across the team
• Build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to exceed expectations

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in an engineering role with a main contractor
• Specific expertise in structural refurbishment
• Proven skills in identifying and mitigating risks early in the project lifecycle
• Relevant engineering qualification (HND/HNC minimum)
• Strong ability to build and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders
