Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering department and oversee Capex projects valued between RM 2M – 3M
• Coordinate and implement all maintenance activities and personnel to minimize unplanned downtime
• Lead equipment technology transfers and manage department KPIs
• Utilize TPM, QCC, and other management tools to assist in equipment maintenance and upgrades
• Manage and develop all direct reporting staff
• Ensure compliance with ISO14001, OHSAS18001, and IATF16949 management systems
• Liaise with local statutory government bodies regarding new equipment installations

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading and managing a team of technicians
• Strong knowledge of planning, coordination, and implementation for projects and improvement works
• Proficiency in automation system design
• Ability to manage complex engineering projects and maintenance schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• Skills in PLC programming, specifically with Allen Bradley PLC
• Deep understanding of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and QCC (Quality Control Circles)
