About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering teams in building and operating platforms that support global technology request, fulfillment, and procurement workflows.
  • Develop and lead a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Partner with Product Management to define technical strategy, architecture direction, and engineering roadmaps.
  • Drive the transformation of manual processes into scalable, automated, and self-service experiences.
  • Lead the development of workflow platforms, microservices, APIs, SaaS integrations, and web applications.
  • Design systems that balance automation, augmentation, and human review to optimize efficiency and business risk.
  • Foster strong engineering practices focused on security, quality, observability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed stakeholders to identify process improvements and scale solutions across regions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise application development.
  • 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams in an Agile environment.
  • Experience delivering modern software platforms, including web applications, APIs, backend services, and SaaS integrations.
  • Strong understanding of full-stack software engineering and modern application architecture.
  • Experience designing distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience designing and implementing workflow automation or business process orchestration.
  • Experience designing and operating solutions on modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex business processes through technology and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with procurement, fulfillment, or service management platforms.
  • Experience building systems that support large-scale business operations across multiple countries.
  • Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms and enterprise systems.
  • Experience with cloud-native engineering practices, DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration, low-code platforms, or process automation tools.
  • Experience designing AI-assisted workflows or decision-support systems.
