Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the design, development, and implementation of high-frequency trading systems and algorithms
• Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment
• Ensure code meets high standards of quality, reliability, and performance
• Drive continuous improvement to optimize trading strategies and system scalability
• Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the engineering team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering
• 3+ years in a leadership or management role
• Proficiency in Golang, React Js, or React Native
• Experience with high-performance, low-latency systems
• In-depth knowledge of financial markets and electronic trading platforms
• Experience with real-time data processing and messaging protocols (e.g., FIX protocol)
• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with agile methodologies and tools like JIRA
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes
