Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and lead the site engineering team to deliver operational excellence
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, including risk assessments and method statements
• Devise and implement maintenance procedures and engineering standards
• Coordinate maintenance team activities and provide direction to maximize contribution
• Manage the site maintenance budget
• Review engineering competency and implement training and development plans
• Drive the utilization of the company’s CMMS and ensure data integrity
• Own the OEE loss reduction programme using RCA and other tools
• Participate in capital projects to embed PM plans and engineering standards
• Manage and review allocated outsourced contracts
• Mentor production managers on technical issues and decision-making

Requirements

• Experience working within an FMCG manufacturing environment
• At least five years of engineering experience (projects and maintenance) in food production
• Knowledge of TPM methodology
• Working knowledge of RCM/RCA
• IOSH certification
• Continuous improvement experience, tools, and techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Management
