Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and leadership to the process, industrial, and maintenance engineering departments
• Manage resource allocation and set departmental objectives to support production metrics
• Implement and maintain Lean Manufacturing systems and lead continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects
• Oversee the development and documentation of production processes, including PFMEA, Work Instructions, and VSM
• Manage New Product Introductions (NPI) and process transfers, including validation through IQ, OQ, PQ, and DOE
• Oversee equipment and facility maintenance to ensure optimal operating conditions
• Manage capital projects (CAPEX) and ensure efficient use of resources
• Monitor and drive key performance metrics including OEE, waste reduction, efficiency, and safety

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in a similar engineering management position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
• Experience with AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Knowledge of Minitab for statistical analysis
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Experience working in cleanroom environments
