Engineering Manager, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Own Kubernetes and cluster foundations including service mesh, scaling, and ingress
• Design geo-deployment architecture for deploying services across cloud regions and providers
• Build edge and security infrastructure to manage rate limiting and traffic routing
• Lead data storage strategy for Postgres, OLAP systems, and caching layers
• Manage cost optimization and build attribution systems for cloud spend
• Unify the compute platform through opinionated container orchestration
• Hire, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing infrastructure engineers

Requirements

• Experience leading engineering teams building production infrastructure or platform systems at scale
• Deep experience with AWS, VPC networking, EKS/K8s, and IAM
• Proven track record of operating production Kubernetes clusters at scale
• Strong understanding of databases, storage engines, caching, and schema design
• Knowledge of edge networking, CDN/WAF architectures, and traffic management
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code and reproducibility principles

• Experience with infrastructure migration or unification
• Experience with Postgres, ClickHouse, or OLAP systems
